This early body of work was created in Ängsbacka, a place known for exploring alternative forms of community, intimacy, and embodied experience.
The images emerged through encounters with people who were openly engaging with different ways of relating, touching, and being present with one another. Rather than staging situations, the photographs observe how intimacy unfolds between bodies, gestures, and atmospheres.
They explore sensuality not as spectacle, but as a form of human connection and relational presence.
This series became the starting point for Bonds – The Space in Between, which further develops an investigation of intimacy as a relational and culturally situated practice.
