Bonds – The Space in Between is an ongoing photographic exploration of intimacy, connection, and relational dynamics in contemporary life.
The project asks how intimacy emerges between people – not as a fixed state, but as something that unfolds through encounters: in gestures, spatial constellations, and shared presence.
At its core is the in-between: the space where closeness and distance, desire and negotiation begin to take shape.
The work approaches its subject gradually – as a process of moving closer, of carefully engaging with different forms of intimacy.
Not every encounter follows the same dynamics. Some are marked by openness and resonance, while others reveal questions of power, control, or vulnerability.
The aim is not to define what intimacy is.
Rather, it is experienced in the shared moment – in process, in contact, and in the encounter with the protagonists.

Bonds – The Space in Between ist eine fortlaufende fotografische Auseinandersetzung mit Intimität, Verbindung und relationalen Dynamiken im zeitgenössischen Leben.
Das Projekt geht der Frage nach, wie Intimität zwischen Menschen entsteht – nicht als fester Zustand, sondern als etwas, das sich in Begegnungen entfaltet: in Gesten, in räumlichen Konstellationen und in geteilter Präsenz.
Im Mittelpunkt steht das Dazwischen: jener Raum, in dem Nähe und Distanz, Begehren und Aushandlung Form annehmen.
Die Arbeit versteht sich als ein Annähern – als ein vorsichtiges Herantasten an unterschiedliche Formen von Intimität.
Nicht jede Begegnung folgt denselben Dynamiken. Manche sind geprägt von Offenheit und Resonanz, andere machen Fragen von Macht, Kontrolle oder Verletzlichkeit sichtbar.
